At the beginning of my magazine project, I worked on defining a publication. A publication can be a book, magazine, newspaper, or document. A publication preserves memories, documents history, and is used as reference.

Choosing a Theme

 Before I started anything with my project, I had to decide whether I wanted to work with a group or remain by myself. After making the decision to work on the project myself, I had to then figure out what I wanted the main topic of my magazine to be. I brainstormed many ideas in class through assignments and speaking with fellow classmates. I also looked at and analyzed a few magazines in class which gave me inspiration.
