Tools of the Trade
During the beginning of October, I started to work in StudioWorks which is an online publishing program. The first thing I learned of was the navigation bar. The navigation bar is where the major sections in StudioWorks can be accessed. My teacher also played videos in class labeling the different features of the program.
Next, I began learning how to utilize the different tools within StudioWorks. The first assignment assigned by my teacher taught me how to create a picture, create a text box, color my background, add a picture, choose a font, choose a font size, Identify a blue marker and gutter, use the measurement tool and add a stroke.
I progressed and continued to learn about StudioWorks. Mid-October I learned how to identify the trim, change the transparency, add a drop shadow with gradient, modify the softness, incorporate a rounding radius and flip an image as well as invert it.
