Completed CCR (Creative Critical Reflection)

For my CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection)  I decided to record podcast call-ins in my office.  CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection) questions 1)  How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?   I’d say my product challenges conventions by focusing mainly on women. I say this because usually in sports, especially football, women aren ’t represented as much as men are, so me focusing on the flag football girls gave my product a different perspective that’s not always shown . Following up with the second question about social groups, my product, “Plantation High Sports” is overall about the sports Plantation High has to offer an d how each team prepares themselves both mentally and physically. Therefore, my product shows how much these diffe rent teams can accomplish when they all come and work together.   2) How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as ...

Creating my CCR (Creative Critical Reflection)

Image
C reating my CCR (Creative Critical Reflection) took some time and planning. Firstly, I had to decide what I wanted to do, whether that was  a video, a blog, or a podcast. Once I decided, I had to figure out when I wanted to execute it and how I wanted to execute it. In the end, I answered my CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection)  questions in the form of a Podcast 'Call-in' where I took in calls from supporters to answer questions about my product.  I answered these questions in my office and  found this option to be the best choice for me to answer my CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection)  questions since it was more convenient.

Importance of Photo Planning

Image
P hoto planning is important because it eliminates the process of figuring out what to take a picture of and when. Planning pictures beforehand gives you the opportunity to carry out the image or aesthetic you had in mind prior, causing your photo to come out successfully.

How the Lessons on Depth of Field and Photography Techniques Prepared Me To Take Pictures

Image
I believe that the lessons on the depth of field, as well as photography techniques, prepared me to take pictures for my 'School Sports' magazine. Because of the lessons, I am able to differentiate between what I should be looking for and taking pictures of, from what I shouldn't. I now know the do's and dont's of photography and I overall feel more confident in taking pictures after going over the lessons.

The Importance of Composition, Cropping, and Storage When Dealing With Pictures

Image
Composition, cropping, and storage are all very important factors to consider when dealing with pictures because they all play a role in the point of view or aesthetic you are trying to show to your viewers.  Composition is responsible for the narrative of the photo and indicates where everything should be including the distances between elements. Cropping allows you to change the aspect ratio of an image in order to show viewers what you want them to see.

Preparing for the CCR (Creative Critical Reflection)

Image
The  CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection)  consists   of the four questions listed How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? How did your production skills develop throughout this project? How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project? In order to prepare for the  CCR  (Creative Critical Reflection) I will revise my options, communicate with my teacher, and get the information I need to answer these questions to the best of my ability.

The Importance of Headlines

Image
The headline is meant to capture the reader's attention. When creating a headline, it should describe your content in an honest but attractive way. The purpose of the headline is to capture the reader's attention while also drawing it into the story. The headline is important because, without an eye-catching one, you risk losing your audience and or reader.

How to Write a Caption and the Importance of Them

Image
Captions are meant to be short and shouldn't take up much space. When creating a caption, it should be well-written providing context for the selected picture and letting the reader know the who, what, when, where, why, and how.  Captions are important because they are the most read copy in a publication.

How to Prepare For an Interview

Image
In order to prepare for an interview, the interviewer must first decide who they want to interview and have all the questions they want to ask ready beforehand. In addition to this, the interviewer should schedule a date with the interviewee prior so that the interviewee is prepared and ready to answer questions.  Before the start of the interview, the interviewer should introduce themselves and ask the interviewee to do the same.
